Ode to Feeling

Beds hold seismic events
thinly registered
by wavering arms.
A Bonsai trimmed
fashioned from shaved dimes,
assembled in detail with
maple sap,
bled from the liver
of Prometheus,
brave bucket awaits
upon the Titans crag.
This minutiae, a hobby,
loves labor,
certain women view through
passion glasses for
such attentions can transfer
to heart as hoped
against a game player alert,
rather by allure
not bait taken,
pulses quicken, legs spread.
Resting 'tween the rounds
a discussion of sighs
in polite waltz;
who is this person
through which good
feelings abound?
A dogs skin shed
to silk bind us:
Exploration by edge of lips
following breath in reconnaissance.
Warm stares,
mind to cells,
in lengths to limbs,
collecting orphan geese,
donning their wings,
to migrate in bumps.
A kiss upon lids,
thick fingerprints mingle
a fine sandpaper grit,
to pearl the skin
aligns to each thrust,
stopped,
just to sit in grip,
clench, release,
forearms marry flesh.
Einstein & baseball
fade, replaced
with awe
appreciating
the beauty of your
luscious depths in Union.
Before you
I twitched,
after each
time of carnal
intimacy,
short trip to the
market for
Putanaesca and Hagen-Daz
there would always be
another cute leggy babe
on line, loins would stir
in stark disbelief,
a dirty disloyalty.
Why?
How?
I was just, oh so knee deep,
as the flesh knows the flesh
perhaps why so many signal to
cheat.
With you I am fragment no more
as you said it first;
able to admit
women are better
at living then men.
Such brave aliveness
I can hardly breath
feeling the power of you
in bone crushing grip
with fleet of bruises,
in harmony trails,
to propose on the sheets.
Let us marry in every city,
joined in every country of the world,
in every state exotic,
altered perceptions conjured.
A wedding a week first on wine
next on vodka
then on orange cough syrup,
with years for blends,
till in every corner,
and moment of being
our vows are pledged.
Blessed at rest
we tell tales
of being one
with all the Earth.
