The Trial of Chimera's Cannibal

The luminescence of her eyes
enthralled bestial lust of men
with little shame I must admit
that I was much the same as them

but O' those curves which fed thine rapture
seemed imbued by powers of hell
to be ( by her ) forever encaptured
there's no dream I would not sell

and thus I was Chimera's slave
to every whim I was the pawn
and so it came that they were slain
by hands , though mine , not quite my own

I fell , you see , unto her craft
a magic held by Satan's power
and so 'twas demons , on that night ,
that drove my thirst as I devoured

So I demand thee spare my life
for are we not an image of God
and are thou not as merciful
as our great lords in heaven art?

Alas methinks you are content
to toss my head next to her own
So damn you all and waste no breath
she awaits with hell's leviathan!
