I wish you could come to me And tell me what you’re thinking I wish I could tell you these things Please, there is no shame. I will love you no matter what you do. I don’t like that you drink Or when you think you’re worthless Because you are worth something in my eyes You are my light when I’m in the dark You make me smile when I want to cry. I wish I could be as strong as you I wish you would show me your pain. It’s not fair for you to have to take care of everyone And leave yourself behind It’s okay to cry in front of me You have seen me many times You have been through so much. So much pain, So much more then I could imagine. I wish I could be more of a help. I love you more then anything You are my best friend I don’t know what I would do without you. Please smile.
