A bit of sadness hangs in the air.
Though nothings different.
The days go on.
Time passes.
With you gone.
One year today.
Your family left behind.
No one can take you place.
Your son lies in bed.
Whispering i love you mom.
Your daughter sits with you in her dream.
& your lover lies in your bed.
Another women at his side.
Soon they will wake.
& on their mind you will be.
Your fathers heartache.
Can be felt far away.
Your mother holds you in her arms.
Loving you with all her heart.
Feeling selfish she has you.
The doctors remember.
They can feel you their.
Though thy know not who you are.
.The day moves slowly.
& here I am.
So far from them.
So close in heart.
With paper & a pen.
I tell you the truth.
I know you see these words.
I know in my heart.
You watch us all.
Guiding us on the right path.
Pushing us along.
Crying out when we get it wrong.
You visit us less and less.
Keeping your eves on your baby girl.
Approaching another birthday with out you.
But in her heart i know she feels you.
Just as I do.
I'll never forget,
What your son did for me.
How he told me.
How I refused to believe.
But now i sit here.
I see you standing strong.
Piewaket at your feet.
I know your OK.
I know you understand. you are Loved.
We'll think about you.
Today and everyday.
Your in our hearts.
As you walk among the gods.
