Boy you know I'd do anything to help cure your disease
I know how trapped you feel inside but, it's a deadly way to release
the pressure that keeps building up, you don't know what to do
the poison counteracts the pain, you've let it take control of you

My angel with a tarnished heart, you've broken your own wings
I've afflicted myself with another's pain, you've changed everything
You're dying a silent death, and you can't even see
that what you do to numb the pain, all the while it's killing me

I will be your heroine, I will be your fix
I will help you to relax, when your thoughts are in a mix
I will be your saving grace, and I will be your friend
Let me be the light, when you think the has no end

Once you made me smile boy, but you stole that smile away
I cannot be happy, when I see that you're in pain
And what keeps running though my head, is how easy it could be
You can't lose your habit, so instead you're losing me.
