FREE FALL Date: Sunday, 1st October 2006 @ 04:30:18 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry Contributed By: Forgotten_soul Blood surging through your veins Adrenaline pumping A sharp breath Looking down You stand at the edge Staring down into oblivion Calling to you Leaning forward Lurching into a free fall The world around you collapses As gravity pulls at you Falling onto dream But its all real With the end coming closer seconds ticking away Your life flashes before your eyes And then a surge of pain Time stops you've reached the beginning Looking down Over the edge.
