Every one says its good to remember
Everyone says its good to cry
Everyone says to let it all out
Even though its hard to say good bye

But is it good when you cry all the time
Is it good when you cant stop
Is it good to remember so much
Is it good to not let go

Everyone says not to let go
Everyone says cry until its better
Everyone says it will be okay
That the pain will heal one day

What happens if the pain don’t cease
But I cant cry anymore
What happens if alls I do is think of you
And nothing seems to matter

Everyone says that happens sometimes
Everyone says but soon I’ll find
Some way to see that life goes on
Even when the best is gone

So now I say not what if or but
I say memories are better then none
If you could be here it would be better
But knowing your not its your memory I remember

Your eyes and your smile
Your laughter and joy
Your walk and you talk
And your great sense of style
You leave but remain here
Because everyone who knew you holds you near

So now when I cry its not for pain
But because I remember your loving sweet name
Then when I smile its for the great times
And Then I say your still a great friend of mine.
