You put me on a pedestal,
You made me feel so good,
You told me that I'd conquer my fears,
Though I never thought I would,
You made my eyes see better times,
You lifted me from the doldrums,
You made me realise my faults,
You exstiinguished all my problems,
You made me look at my life,
You told me what route to take,
You showed me the error of my ways,
And how not to make mistakes,
You taught me to be confident,
You even made me smile,
You are a special person,
Who I have known for quite a while,
You said I should push myself,
You told me not to be blue,
You made me what I am today,
My friend its thanks to you.
