Light Years...

Diamond chandeliers will sway,
while moonbeams slowly trickle away
Hiding in the summer clouds,
Dance the diamonds ever so proud
Worn on purple skies 'til dawn,
then to shine elsewhere and gone
This could almost be anywhere,
in a starry sky like this
I would be light years from any care,
wrapped up in your kiss
Diamond earrings dangle and shine,
across the minds that dig the mines
The mother-load a sky filled feat,
diamonds that seem to repeat and repeat
Counting only on your precious lips,
as star filled skies decorate this trip
This could almost be anywhere,
in a starry sky like this
I would be light years from any care,
wrapped up in your kiss.
