For my Friends,
For my Family,
I am a Pillar,
A Pillar of Strength.

I must be strong,
So others may be weak.
I must stand stoic,
So others may weep.

But,
Who is my Pillar?
I don't have one.

I Stand Alone.

Strong,
Silent,
Caring,
Wise.

Alas,
I am merely a Man.

I too need someone,
Someone to help me.

Will you help me?

You merely turn away,
Thats fine with me.
I will be here for you,
Even if you won't be
Here for me.

Someone must be that Pillar,
That someone is Me.

I did not ask for this task,
It was given to me.

In this task I stand Alone,
In this life I am Alone.
Helping others back Up,
When they fall Down.

Cold,
Solid,
Tall,
I Stand
Forever Vigilant.

My heart yearns,
Yearns for another.
Another's touch,
Another's love,
Another's life.

But no one comes to me,
So Alone I carry my burden.
Who will help me?
Standing my post,
I wait.

Hollow,
Alone,
Scared,
Stone.

My Heart hardens,
My Soul goes cold.

Life leaves me,
Soon I cease to be.

Forever in stone,
I am a Pillar.
A Pillar for the World.
