A Recurring Dream

I have a recurring dream, the type that even scares me,
I awake on a cold table, an IV in both arms, I atempt to move but I'm unable,
My blood flows through one, as embalming fluid flows through the other,
The doctor looks right at me, I try and speak, but he doesn't want to be bothered,
I scream as the veins tighten, he asks are you fightened,
I can feel my organs shutting down, I open my mouth but make no sound,
I awake on a table to a sharp pain in the chest, I find it hard to inhale a single breath,
The doctor has a saw and he begins to open me up, I'm horrified watching him cut,
I can feel the sting of air tickling my lungs, the look in his face tells me he's having fun,
My life blood is now all over the room, lights begin to fade, the end is soon,
I awake to my body being cold, I'm naked and my chest has been sown,
Ice has form over my eyes,, it takes everything I got to open them wide,
It's dark, the only sound I hear is a dying heart,
I atempt to move but my skin is stuck, I feel my flesh begin to rip as I try and adjust,
I awake in a box, it's cool and damp, I feel a terrible pain as my legs begin to cramp,
My body starts to stiffen, rigamortis is here but I'm still living,
Thud is the sound as dirt comes falling down,
I claw at the roof, fingers bleed as I break through,
I cry for help, and the people stare, am I invisible, do any of you care,
With blank looks they slowly leave, I awake, thank God it's just a dream.
Forever Faithful
