Windswept Foxey Lady; or little Prissy Pooh,

She is an English Mastiff, this sweet little dream come true.

Sure she weighs in at well over 200 pounds...

Bark and woof arf arf some more; one knows she's around.

Really just a wee little lap doggie, who favors sitting on my head,

Mastiffs love comfort and cuddles and snuggling in your bed.

Slobbers and jowel drools that prettily hang to the floor,

Her happy self all over; tail re-arranges decor.

This poem will never justify the true value of this lady,

I adopted her and yet, she rescued me from my malady.

Elegant lady ever wearing her beautiful coat of fawn,

Trimmed in black mask, ears and whiskers worn quite long.

Prissy's wrinkled smiling face with ever laughing eyes-

Quietly sits on her favorite hill; peacefully looking towards the skies.

Prissy, she loves her two-footed sister and brothers,

A sibling always fun and playful; a Mastiff like no other.

Kindest of heart to all those whom are weak or smaller,

My Windswept Foxey Lady's lovingness; yet ever loves but taller.

My dearest friend and trusted one, from a beautiful line,

Since Prissy came to live with us, our lives' been graced so fine.

Oh, dear Mastiff of mine, most nobel and loving one,

Grateful everyday; your personality far brighter than the sun.

Grandeur of good nature, temperment of ease,

Prissy is sweeter than any flower, gentle as a breeze.
