life and death... what does it matter?

why cant life be erased by the flick of a switch?
why do most girls have to be a snitch?
why cant life always work your way and make you happy?
i would even settle for another life that is sappy.

why cant you see that i want you back for life?
its not enough, you only gave me five,
it bothers you that i always did as you asked,
but thats who i am, and its not gonna change.

just because i liked doing your will.
doesnt mean you had to send me off without you still.
again, i lay in sorrow as i get revealed the truth.
for bordem is the unspoken brute.

bordem did this to me.
why cannot someone make me happy?
it is up to only one, and one alone.
that can break this misery that i am betrothed.

Misery that will never leave me when i am calm,
my crying everynight always sets off the alarm.
for everynight i weep in sorrow,
for my heart i let you borrow.

i let you borrow it, with blind eyes.
for i didnt know what really lied behind the devil inside.
a monster is what i found.
that has brought me down and down.

how could i let him do this to me for all ive done for him?
i did all for him that followed over his whim.
but i guess that was never enough,
but perhaps it could have been too much.

why do i always do as you wish?
maybe as it always brings me a happy bliss,
to know that i have made your life better.
but still thinking that mine is in ruins.

what makes people want to live?
when other people destroy your hopes of happiness,
when one cannot be happy,
then what hope does one have of living?
