Hearing your story
I can't imagine what you must
Be going through
I remember your cheerful smile
How you laughed and seemingly enjoyed life
Now I can imagine you
Frowning, tears streaming downward
As they roll and burn their way to the ground
They scar your face and heart

It hurts me
To know I am powerless to do a thing
All I can do is sit back
Yet I KNOW you are strong
I have faith that you can pull through
Remember its ok to cry
It might hurt, but my shoulder
Is just a phone call away
