-Maori Proverb [bodytext] => Here in the morning, by the window Life is easy-
At home while working I stretch out my long legs, yawning
As I face the blinking lights of my PC
Listening to whole choirs of sparrows sing.
There's a tingling, refreshing sensation in the air,
The feel of a world at Genesis-nay, in rebirth
Celebrated by a union of trees swaying out there
In the garden lit up by the loving Gods' kindest mirth.
None could deny in their gladness their grateful thanks
For the sweet life this morning to the Almighty
No dark gravid clouds haunting the skies-just cloudbanks
Of pearl and wool, suspended in the azure sky.
I lean back, like a contented cat by the stove,
Filled with joy-like a gourmand in Dionysus' grove.

Here in the morning, by the window Life is easy-
At home while working I stretch out my long legs, yawning
