Eyes Blind Open
Date: Thursday, 2nd February 2006 @ 12:03:30 AM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

Eyes blind open
Seeking not the truth
Focus on the concrete
Tangible, their proof
Closed minds falter
Facing the unknown
Explain away their faith
Science will condone
Fact is fiction
Fortunate are they
Sheltered from the demons
Sealing up their fate
Lies in darkness
Waiting for their time
Seeking out misguided
Fascinating rhyme
Bound by reason
What ever the cost
Eyes blind open, as they
Realize what’s lost
