My son's sons

The little guys in my life--the little guys in my life
Oh such sweet joy as they smile at me brings peace and not strife
The older one is so fair and his eyes are so blue
He just twinkles with delight and my heart melts in two
His brother is olive colored skin and too young to smile
Yet that doesn't stop me from loving him less the whole while
Neither boy is perfect by the world's standards at all
But the God who created them -- perfection's His call
When either boy is hurting from sudden falls or bumps
This grandma reaches out to comfort as her heart thumps
All I know is that they are two of the best gifts from my Father above
And as I hold them close or dry their little tears all within me says Love!
