Too old too fast

I've become an old timer over the lingering years.
Now I sit all alone drowning in my tears.
I pine away for a love I had in the past.
I'm getting too old too fast.
CHORUS:
I'm getting too old too fast.
I'm just an old man dwelling on the past.
I know first hand that a man's youth never lasts.
I'm getting too old too fast.
Over the years time just seems to fly.
After my true love left, my youth just passed me by.
My memories of yesterday are so great and vast.
I'm getting too old too fast.
Some people say that wisdom comes with age.
But having to live without my love has filled me with rage.
Since I lost my true love, so much time has passed.
I'm getting too old too fast.
