I watch you stand at the end of the dock
Just as the rains does slow
And I slide my hands around your waist
And gently say hello

Just as we kiss and part our lips
We both look up to see
The rain pick up and begin to pour
To head home we both agree

Before I leave, you stop and say
"So what does this all mean?"
I hesitate, then quickly say
"Well let's just date, Christin' "

It felt so good; so pure and true
To date you feels so right
With high hopes and bigger dreams
Our future looks so bright

As I start to think or what we have
It feels so great with you
You tell me that it's me you love
And you know I love you

Things are great, and seem to flow
Without a single bump
Then suddenly, you seem to lean
On this disrespectful chump

You told me that you hated him
That you're not even friends
But you talk and visit this lonely man
With helpful hands to lend

I ask you why you lead him on
And exactly what he means
You assure me strongly and with no doughts
He's not behind the scenes

With love and trust I hope and pray
That what you say is true
And I look away and turn an ear
To what you say and do

You visit him and call him too
As I question your intentions
You look at me, and sternly say
He get's only my attention

Just like that kiss, the very 1st
So passionate and smooth
You show me you are what I want
My heart begins to soothe

And just like that... snap, it's gone.
You pull your hand away
And my heart I feel was twist and torn
And led So far astray

I stand there, still. my tears are froze
Just before they hit
And I feel my heart, begin to slow
As I feel frost bite it

The cold comes fast and freezes all
Even my burning soul
As I loose the strength to fight within
I lost the boyfriend role
