Murky water lies

Topic: Sad Poetry

wait is shadows and stand in murky water
rest uneasy in wait for the back door to open,
and you to not invite me in but join me in dusk part-time
your use of me is sad and true and clockwork
your eyes look at me with ugly and want not
do not speak a word of tender and you hold my hand too soft
core reaches its darkness and its black pitch
see me now as I do you and bring the hurt along
tell me now then leave me here in obscurity, to lose
dimness and damp cover world we both think old
stay alone in alley way where dark and gloom live proud
sink away and watch the door from afar to open again
with wet feet I stand in moist and sorrow
air in mist buries lies and beauty remains far from touch

I make mistakes I hate so much
