A time when things were great

My life was once made up of

The things my dreams are made

There was a time when I was happy

A time when you were there

Those days were never lonely

Cause you were always near

A time I thought you were happy

and those feelings wouldn’t fade

And times I had to leave you

Where you’d wish that I could stay

And then I thought my loneliness

was no longer something to fear

But then you had to leave me

You had to disappear

There was a time when things were different

A time when things were great
