he's not breathing

This isn’t right, it’s not how it’s supposed to be.
Were supposed to be true.
But all I see are lies cast in the shadows of broken dreams.
Angels fly with broken wings through the midnight sky to rescue me.
My mind screams out but suffocation stops me.
Breathe in the agony, pain, and defeat.
Weakness was always my true kryptonite.
I’m fading fast as time goes by.
My mind is shot and I didn’t even say goodbye.
I’ll drown my fears as I stop breathing.
Rescue me from these feelings.
Darkness conveys the corners of this cage I feel trapped in.
I want to be free but I’m not breathing.
He’s not breathing.
He’s not breathing.
