In The Shadows

In the shadows
In the shadows we share our love
Ever watchful for prying eyes
Mindful of their iron glove
With a heavy heart full of soft sighs
To want to be proud and be loud
Yet forced by society to hush
So silently our love is vowed
Softly and tenderly like a new roses blush
Full lips, soft skin, sensuality in motion
Long hair, curvy hips, sensual smile, many heads you turn
Many a mans mind you give toward sexual notion
But it is my equally feminine body for which you yearn
The world says it’s wrong and a horrible sin
We know that simply is not a truth
So silently we love and publicly grin
Closed minded people can be so uncouth.
