I give up.I'm tired of crying.
I've had it with wearing this mask that is hiding.
These feelings inside that scratch hard to be free.
The pain, the sorrow, the anger, the grief.

I'm tired of caring if you understand.
I'm tired of dancing, can't keep up with this band.

Circles and colors of forgiveness and grace.
Are whispers of lines that are etched on my face.

These tears I keep crying all have their own name.
Belonging to others who play lives like a game.

Taking away pride, ambition, and place.
I want to reclaim all I am that is great.
