Your Poetry Dot Com - A silence from beyond........

As, a hush feel amoung the crowd
The curtain began to open.................
The dark stage, where the peformers had stood before
Now stood one lonely dancer
She in a pure white leotard, with silver, and satin bows
Her body was all of glisten, as the beaded sweat left her brow
She knew this was the last time, she would dance
Taking one hand, and lifting in the air, the concerto began
Mozart of all pieces...........in d,e,and b minor
The hardest of all, to perform the final
Music grew louder, and she paused for a moment..........
Looking in the crowd, she needed to see the bright, light which had lead her to awe
There; it was there.........yet it did not seem to notice the dancer
The heart, needing it more than ever
Would it see, and lead her to the final.......with no faults?!
Only the one who held the bright, and guided light.......could tell..................
The music ends....................and all is back to a hush.!
