I think I’m stuck
Inside a dream
Where everything is good
Or so it seems

I need to wake up
I need to see
What horrors
Are actually happening to me

I can be dangerous, mysterious, or lovely
When I enter my dream world
I can have friends, love
Or a wish for a head of curls

But that’s my problem
I am what I dream
I live in a world
Where nobody can scream

I have good friends
Good family, too
I even have somebody to say
“I love you”

I have good goals
Good dreams in life
I will always follow them
They’ll never leave my sight

Yet still I feel
Like all this is too perfect
I get things too easily
Hardly ever have to work for it

I need to wake up
To see if my dream is true
Or if I’m in a nightmare
That would end the sky so blue

Dream

I think I’m stuck
Inside a dream
Where everything is good
Or so it seems

I need to wake up
I need to see
What horrors
Are actually happening to me
