i've become
something good
that's what i thought yesterday
but now i know it's what i hate
i wake up
like i should
to do what i can't believe now
this little problem is never late
now i hate
damnable thing
why won't you go away? go away
hey i don't want any part of you
part of me
in all i sing
it never leaves believe me please
i'm telling what i know is true
like i always do...
like i always do...
how
i'd love to see you leave
you stupid part of me
you're my epitome
what is it to be?
now
you're not the air i breathe
and thou i feel you seethe
you're not eternally
the inner part of me
you are all just a little temporary thing
BUT YOU KEEP ON HAUNTING...
KICKING SCREAMING TAUNTING...
never going to let you control me
and i'm going to do a better thing
without you making me a mystery
yes i'm going to do a better thing
i have done
all so wrong
i broke all the rules like a fool
but now i turn away to start again
i get up
in my song
putting behind me every mistake
will it go? i can only wonder when
now i'm awake
yes yes yes, i am aware
forget what the costs may add up
just getting where i need to be
i need what?
you don't care
speaking a part of my soul away
and you still think that i'm crazy
like you always do...
like you always do...
how
i'd love to see you bleed
you stupid part of me
fall out like i need
what is it to be?
now
you know i can't bereave
i won't start to grieve
you're not my eternity
you know what i mean
you are all just a little temporary thing
BUT YOU KEEP ON HAUNTING...
KICKING SCREAMING TAUNTING...
never going to let you control me
and i'm going to do a better thing
without you making me a mystery
yes i'm going to do a better thing
