[title] => It Flourishes, Then Turns to Ash

[hometext] => ohhhh this poem just took flight.. but i like how it came out
[bodytext] => I stare into the eyes of blank and empty faces. They're lost without a path, just trying to find their places. A rose blooms beautiful yet thorny and wild. It blooms among the dreams of a long forgotten child. The rose seemed to flourish then turn to ash in my hands. It's the shattered dreams, the broken heart not a single person understands. He turns the heads of many, his eyes ocean blue. It's the longing, the thirst that break my heart in two. Nearly every day I see his face, his warm, happy smile. But he'll never be mine, so I ask myself, "Is it worth my while?" The rose turns to ash, once full of beauty so red and pure. His eyes make my heart pound, yet it's the fiery heartache they cause that I can't endure.
