Words won’t depict
The direction of our love
I cannot predict.

If this was my last attempt
To try to explain how I feel
I’d begin with your love
So perfect and ideal.

There’s so much to love
But few words will explain
Why you’re so wonderful
I could never complain.

Wrapped in your voice
Covered with smiles
All I’ve given
Has been worth the while.

If we ended today
I would be happy in the thought
I gave all I had
And for you, always fought.

I wouldn’t regret a moment
Not a hug or a kiss
The times I said I loved you
It was all such bliss.

Good things end
Though terrible it may seem
I know that I love you
And always say what I mean.

My love is true
It has been from the start
Despite what you think
You always owned my heart.

Returned broken
Because I gave it away
I know I’d do it
Over again every day.

Talk is cheap
Though my words seem rich
I can’t convince you
Against your wish.

I don’t control you
And never dreamed
That we would come this far
Even though it seemed.

I never changed you
You chose to be mine
I believed it could happen
And asked for a sign.

Now my only example
Is the love in my heart
Though you can’t see it
From me, it’ll never part. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 2 [informant] => BlindRomantic [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

I am drawn to your name, perhaps because I am so cynical and would like to be romantic, I just haven't had the chance.

Hello. This is so beautiful. If I could only get my husband to write stuff like this... You're really good.

That was great. Very sweet, I really liked that.
