The alter was trimed
Yellow roses intertwined
Season early May

Outside under a gazeble
A few mumered of the heat
Then the sound the wedding beat
She was five and adorable

As pure as an angel in her white dress
Eyes so clearly blue
Slowly steping under a golden hue
Her blond hair done in the finest French twist

Her smile matching afternoon rays
Her look as if you dare
One must wonder can the bride compare
Yellow petals float then gently lay

A finally at the alter she dumped her basket
Swingng it up over and all around
As if to say; There I'm done then dropped it to the ground

She went left the ring barer right
Smiling all the while
Waiting for the bridesmaids she twist and whirle
All the bridesmaids another wonderful sight

At the alter poudly stood the groom
Music changed to "Here comes the Bride"
The flower girl her eyes open so wide
Her cheeks as a red rose in full bloom

All heads naturally turned
Old men smiled as women cried
Pure beauty was our bride
The groom as handsome and so atuned

He had reason for his big smile
His bride an hourglass petite figure
Her face lite brighter than the brighest fire
Never such beauty walked down an asile

I said the flowergirl stold the show
At least she stold a page
The bride my granddaughter pride of old age
The flowergirl another of grandpa's pride she is my
granddaughter also

Sinned
