in which almost the whole piece was plariarized
from an earlier untitled work by an unknown author..
(one of those ageless works we see from time to time)

I won't say who or which poem it was but my advice to them
or anyone else who practices plagiary is this:

Keep it real..
Keep it your own.
There's no place here or any where else for such a violation-
and a violation it is...punishable by law..

tsk..tsk..tsk..

If they are going to post some one else's work, even if they don't know who the poet or writer is they should at least state that below the poem. Always give credit where credit is due.

Yes Dove...

It wasn't a word or even a line or two..
it was 3 or 4 stanzas..
a reprehensible act perpetrated by a fake..
a charlatan..
a bunko artist-

Could've been any one of us he STOLE from..
Thank God it wasn't..
but who knows-

There are many poetry sites..

%$#@!!!
I mean.. c'mon!

I'm with Emy.... I think it should be reported. The site rules clearly state that members should only post works that they themselves authored.

So, yeh... it sounds like a violation of the site rules. Moreover, if it is plagarism... it's theft and it's appalling.
