(humiliation)
brings tidal waves of constant confusion
ripping through my heart
raging through my head
a river running wild
emotions crashing
(like waves)
creating isolation
blinding my vision
(blurry)
effecting my decisions
fabricated smile
surreal likeness
help me
(allow me to let it go)

Your touch is all i need
(what i crave)
my soul
(so pliable)
under your fingertips
lost in your embrace
(regain focus)
useless words
are left unspoken
and i try to retain
(a steady grip)
or what seems to be
(an illusion)
on what you left me with

The whisper in the cold wind
carries silence
chance of change
(changing is timeless)
and my heart silently prays
deep within
(everyday)
that you might hear this (deafening) silence
and somehow
(someday)
realise
(and understand)
the extent
of the endless pounding
(sensation)
locked away
that resembles
(and reveals)
my pain
