I know the burn
Of being brushed off
With every turn

No matter what happens
or what the future holds
it doesn稚 hold hope
or faith in its glue

If I could care
I would end up alone
But not that that matters
I知 alone in this world of two

Fourteen long, lonely, years
Almost fifteen to make it a tear
I have seen it happen
Over and over again

I really should have learned
One fact in this world
I知 not good enough for anything
Nothing comes true

I may wish and hope and scheme
But nobody cares
Wait and pray and dream
But my forte holds true

I will always be without a you

Hi KC. Have to comment on this. You may not like the comments, but, well, that's what this little comment box is for:
I知 not good enough for anything
I think the opposite. I posted a comment on jennie's blog that addresses the kind of gal you are (you are a dee in 1977 eastern mass vernacular). It's the best praise I can give you. Even if you weren't as capable as you obviously are (and don't deny it, because denying it does not change the truth of my statement!!!), everyone has value.
But nobody cares
That's a very general statement. If it addresses romantic entanglements, well, that stuff is hard to make happen. Don't be dismayed by what you see around you. How many romances in high school ever last beyond... not that many! Consider quality, not quantity. If a dateless wonder like me can find someone, anyone can. I guarantee you that you will find someone a lot quicker than I did (if not, I'll fix you uo with my kid, but you're too good for him!!!) KC, please don't focus on the negative. See your strengths, your accomplishments.
