"In Memory"

This feeling never dies. The fever never breaks.
It shakes under your skin, and drips across your face.
It speaks to me, telling me you're terrified of this disease,
cause you look so weak. As it's ripping through your body,
it's tearing through me.

And these are your last words, "I'm sorry"
Right before my eyes, can't believe this is goodbye
Keep staring right into my eyes, and look at me for the last time

So empty but your lies are filled with apathy.
Be careful with your words to save your energy
Speak to me, cause I'm so terrified of
what's happening, so be strong for me
Because it's so easy to die, when it's so hard to breathe

To see you suffering,
Oh my god I think its killing me

And these are your last words, "I'm sorry"
Right before my eyes, can't believe this is goodbye

If this is the last time, I've never been so terrified
If this is the last time, I'll never look in your eyes

God this is a very sad poem, you got your emotions and feelings across very well though, this reminds me of what happens after you get done watching a war movie, when I get done watching a war movie, I always feel totaly different, some of the things people can not even start believe what happens when they go through war, or go into a war, it is very bad, if you think about, all of these war movies and games, nothing could ever re enact, everything that soldiers actually went through, or how they actually felt. Do not want to keep raving on. I liked your poem, it was written very well. SLipSiX.

I think you wrote a very touching poem. I understand where you're coming from, my mother died in front of me when I was 13. I must say though, it sounds as if you are mad at this person for leaving you. I know you're mad and hurt, but not at this loved one who has passed. I was mad too, mad at the world, mad at my friends who did not appreciate their mothers. You are a great writer ad I ma very sorry for your loss. Keep it up and please feel better. Writing really does help with the grieving process. It helped me alot at that time.
