How can I believe the words he says
Truth, lies, they's both taken their toll
But now these emotions are spinning out of control
Happiness, pain, it'a all the same
Especially when you play in love's game.
Cause you get your heart broken to many time's to count
And then in yourself, you start to doubt
You doubt your looks and even your voice
You have nothing to loose and you have no choice.
All you wanted was to love and be loved in return
But with your experience, you come to learn
That loves a ***** and that's the way it goes
Love is pain and only the deep-hearted know
So I'll take my thoughts of him and push them away
Same them for another rainy day
When I can separate the truth from a lie
Then maybe I won't have to cry. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 154 [topic] => 2 [informant] => UrAllEyeAm1205 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

This is such a sad poem. Guys can be so cruel sometimes. Don't worry though, someday you'll find a shining prince amid all the frogs. Stay strong! ^_^

Great write. I agree, I love and hate the game of love. It's all great until one stops loving the other, then the heartbreak sets in. I had my heart broken, but I'm ok now! I have a new boyfriend who is really great!! I hope it turns out well for you. Keep up the great writes.

I think this was a very good write. You maintained the flow and cadence very well, but most important to me was the subject of the write. Very well done, indeed.
