Array ( [sid] => 9626 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Where's The Prayer? [time] => 2003-01-02 13:20:00 [hometext] => Please, this poem is merely my opinion. I wish to recieve no harsh criticism about my views on faith, etc. [bodytext] => You say you believe in heaven
And that theres a god above
So he is nothing but all good
Bringing you faith hope and love

But I will say there isn't
Theres no, "Good News," today
For all the things you lie about
I could not live that way

I have always questioned
Where god is from time to time
Why does he never show himself
Or give us any signs

For many times i've looked
And nothing has been found
For in all my pleading prayers
No ones still around

Look at all you people
And the beliefes you hsare today
How many lives you've ruined
Because of what you'd say

If somewhere god may lobe you
And has you on this world to stay
Why does he have you go through this
Of non-stop suffering and pain

Where do you see that great love
For the man who gives you pain
And makes you go through suffering
And has all your power strained

If you don't perceive the presense of divinity any where in this world- I don't blame you .You have a right to express your feelings. God always hears your prayers. But often does not grant any thing you desired. What is his Will and what he desires to give you- no body can guess... But don't loss faith till the last breath. Whether you pray him or not he shall not fail to give which is fit to be given to you...Don't hesitate, to ask him, if it is really needed for your existence. Good luck My friend..Venkat,

so much pain: a very lonely poem.
