[hometext] => I thought it would be interesting to write from a younger kid's POV... how I would probably feel if this happened to me if I was younger.
[bodytext] => Dear Mommy; Today was such a good day so much better than others The sun was shining so high and bright And I smiled and laughed I didn't cry once, making it through the day I'm exactly who you'od want me to be now My own unique person You'd be so proud if you saw me now because I'm so strong Just like you taught me It's days like this where I don't realize anything is wrong Where the dark clouds have been pushed aside But Mommy, I can still see the clouds hanging there in the corners of my eyes Why are they there, Mommy? Why do I feel this way? All I know is that you've been away for a while Last time I saw you, there you were sleeping in that red, wooden box Looking so cold and so tired People were crying, all dressed in black Why were they crying, Mommy? I remember someone begging you to wake up She clutched your hand and cried and cried until her eyes turned fire red But Mommy, you wouldn't listen to her you kept on sleeping I don't understand, Mommy, Why were they crying? All I know is that I miss you, Mommy [comments] => 3 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 39 [informant] => cocacola1331 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
