Array ( [sid] => 94822 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I never was good at name calling [time] => 2005-05-17 23:37:19 [hometext] => sorry about the title i jst dont care what the title is it shouldnt have one. I wrote this a long time ago it was my second one ever. so please bear with me [bodytext] => If you took the time to listen to the pin drop.
You would hear the wind stop, and the echo of fears across my ocean of tears.
I a mime in a box. Im not david blaine, i cant pick the locks.
In a world so small i have to crawl.
My oragami dreams will never take flight.
Because the will of my wings, is to thin to support my flight.
I cant migrate to a warmer truth. Frostbite has numbed my roots.
I see the happy people as i pass by.
Only concerned with what they can buy.
I travel the roads and read the signs that say nowhere to go.
But i know my destination its deep in a hole.
deep in the ground is where Ill roam.
But deep down there grows a flower.
who been burdened by pain showers.
Ill never bloom, cuz there is no room.
Was it god or the devil who gave me my doom.

Being this your second one, I think you did a fair job, I know how your first few ones are, you look back and almost laugh, and yet you wrote it for a reason, and so no reason to be ashamed of it, it is good writing, and surely we all get better if we keep at it, I likedit allot, it ment allot to me, and explained allot to me, it clearly explained what was going on. Thanks for placing the poem,
Tammi

We all feel like this sometimes, like we're in a box and everone around you is just getting on with their lives and your not being noticed. I hope you don't feel like this all the time. Your use of imagary is really nice, it's really inspired me to be more adventurous with imagery. Iv only just started writing poetry and im a little nervous to be adventurous with things like imagary but this poem has made me think about stepping out of my comfort zone and writing some more interesting poems, thankyou for that. :)
