my throat dry and mouth sore
a spinning dizzyness around my head
this torture of death i abhor
a buzzing sound in my ear
i try to drift off into sleep
but nothing can take away
these memories i keep
my head blanks out
a drift of happiness disappears
my palms weak and sweaty
i return to old tears
what i thought was there
i now return to doubt
out the window with all of my thoughts
what i thought life was about
why does this happen?
why must i remain
instead of this happiness
i return to old pain
a sickness falls upon me
a depression so deep
and if there is a God listening
i pray my soul to keep

Hi Jennie
I am sorry you are not feeling well. It was a nice write and only you could be creative enough to write when you have the flu. I hope that the happiness returns when you are feeling better.
Jaycee

Yet another strong write form a good writer. I always enjoy your writes event though they are filled with so much pain. I guess because right now in my life pain is all I feel. Most of writes that I’ll be posting will be on the darker side and not as good as the rest. My mind has been in a million different places getting its heart ripped out at everyone. Your writes always cut straight to my heart and make me see that I’m not alone in these lost emotions. Take care and keep up with the writes so I can keep reading them. Your in my thoughts my friend….Steve
