I have but one question
To give you:
Do you know how, exactly,
I feel about you,
About what's going on?
Let me give you a hint.
I hurt.
More and more every second
Of everyday.
You know I love you,
You've told me you can see it
In my eyes,
And I used to see it in yours.
What happened?
I think you're just afraid,
I pray you're just afraid,
To let me know,
To let me see.
I keep doing things
To show you my love,
As gestures of friendship,
But so often,
I and what I do
Go unnoticed.
You no longer acknowledge
My love when I speak it
Unto your, at times, deaf ears.
You constantly how me so confused,
All I can do
Is kill myself with alcohol.
God, how many times
Have I poisoned my body
Making myself drunk
To try and forget about you.
I think you're lucky
That your precious friend
Was there to take the knife away.
Why can't you make up your mind?
Do you care about me
Or not?
I can't stand this anymore,
Not knowing.
Your actions,
What you show me about how you feel,
Changes more than a politician's campaign issues.
Come on, baby.
You know actions speak louder than words.
I'm tired of doing and doing for you,
Only for you to spit in my face.
That's how I feel.
Oh, one more thing,
I love you. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 25 [informant] => solmyr1404 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )
