Except you there is nothing
Except you I don’t want any thing
The secret of life lies in your dancing feet
Thou destroyer of death, O nectarine light,
Dweller of the burning ground in my heart
All sounds and thoughts have I sacrificed
Aversions and attachments destroyed
Anger and passions reduced to ashes
My ego lies there as a corpse of silence
In the flames of eternal consciousness!
Except you none can stay there!
Except you none can dance there!
Art thou the light of existence absolute
Dancing in the burning ground
As blazing truth that exists every where
In the splendorous flames of the sun
In the wondrous beauty of the moon
In the stars and lights of the skies
Even in the black holes of cosmic vast
Which bring death to the stars of night-
Thou exist in the millions of constellations
Blaze as purest jewel of consciousness-
O mother KaaLika! O thou, supreme light!
Art thou the existence absolute, infinite
Dancing in the flames of consciousness

Energetic and vibrant
A colourful piece, indeed.

And what beautiful comparisons:
“Dweller of the burning ground in my heart”
Spiritual…almost Buddhist/Hindu (in inclination)?
“All sounds and thoughts have I sacrificed”
This is an interesting concept…to surrender to a higher plane of intangible richness…love and truth.
And the side affects of love!
“My ego lies there as a corpse of silence”
“Black holes of cosmic vast”
-Breath-taking.
“Blaze as purest jewel of consciousness”
-Mind altering!
“In the flames of eternal consciousness!”
-Soul engorging.

Its been too long since I read anything by you
Venkat and somehow its posting escaped
me until now. I loved the first two lines the
sense of unfilment if you can't have that
person... I can definitely relate to that.

Voila! - the last commenter. whose accolade must by existential necessity be rather modest, as diverse syntaxes, grammars, and vocabularies are engaged constantly in a war.
and make it very difficult to do justice to masterworks of incomparable beauty and sublime content, - but the supreme "Dancing Lord" is aware of these limitations , and so I bow and give joyous thanks to Him for bestowing upon you such a multitude of rarest and most excellent gifts.for the benefit of men.

Wow, this one is somewhat bittersweet. Very powerful lines of undying devoted love with lines that also bring some darkness.... darkness that also expresses that undying love.
