with her on my mind
Oh I am fixated
on this woman so kind

She is so unavailable
we must be platonic
Given how I yearn for her
this thinking's moronic

I've forgotten to eat
my thirst I don't slake
of her I do dream
both asleep and awake

My breathing goes ragged
my body's on fire
She's all that I want
Consumed by desire

She's not mine to want
She's not mine to keep
But that cannot extinguish
these feeelings so deep

The chemistry's been there
oh, right from the start
I fear she's imprinted
her name on my heart

How I yearn to hold her
and kiss her so much
Our fingers lightly brushing
a feather soft touch

I was dead before I met her
a shell of a man
I can never go back
before this began

and held in my arms
is where she wants to be
Know this to be true
but it just cannot be

My honor is my life
so I must continue to cry
Desire just one kiss
then so ready to die

Very nicely done. Those kinds of feelings can be dangerous. But that's probably what draws us to them in the first place.
Keep up the great writing!

Take care
Stellar
