Tales of horror and beauty from my bleeding pen,
Liquid blasphemies, ebony sins,
Woven by my scarred hands…

Hold back your opinions, bite your tongue,
Make the blood flow, suffocate on it,
Overflowing in your mouth,
Crimson hatred,
And you cry out for release,
Incomprehensible demands,
Tongueless, opinionless, for the sake of the weak…

Headless priests scream Ecclesiastes,
Choir boys tainted and dead,
God laughing at us, crying for us,
Look at what he has created…
It’s a dirty world out there, a globe of slime and filth,
Monsters in every corner, hungry and lingering,
For any innocent, unwilling prey…

Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to the world-renowned tragedy, Life,
Take everything for granted, and sacrifice nothing to no one…

A lifeless orchestra plays endless warped sonatas,
Screeching, wailing, shrill Insanity consuming me,
The voices want me dead,
But I hold on strong, writing my timeless legacy…

Grotesque phantasms, ghouls of the past,
Tearing you, eating you,
Nothing left,
But your worthless string of bones,
White and pure…

Ignorant revelations of the future,
Showers of fire and molten rock,
Leaving us, the ashes, with nothing,
And Evolution, weary, to start all over again…

The end is near,
Waiting for the right moment to strike,
Destroying this damned epidemic called Mankind,
Bitter realization reveals itself,
The cause of our downfall, our termination…

US…

Amazing !! I'd lift more than two thumbs if I could find them Steph. I went back and read the Watcher writes right after this ... they just tie in so well. So what song could have inspired so ... ? And what would it do to my head ? You never fail to strike a chord my dear !!!

"sacrifice nothing to no one". Great advice, but I'm wondering if the line before should be "take *nothing* for granted." At least that's the way I see it - you can't always believe what you read, what you think is real.
It's quite the exciting write though - brings Revelations to mind... and all those disaster movies. Nice work Stephy!
