They are so callous about it. You can say as many hail mary's as you like, you can go to confession every day, but it means nothing unless you absolutely mean it. [bodytext] => A million false words
In asking forgiveness
Cannot hide what is really in your soul
Going through the motions
Is not a free pass into heaven
If that is your goal
The words that you speak
Do not set the lies from the truth apart
The understanding of the true you
Is derived only from your heart
But looking into you
Is impossible for any human to do
But when you are there before God
In a grand stand of shame
Do you think that he
Will believe you
When you call out his name? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 235 [topic] => 11 [informant] => Onslaught [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

this is a truely amazing piece also. your talent is clearly expressed in this, and with it used to portray your message, how could the reader not understand and try to do better? your ending stuck out to me, because it was unexpected. it also was perfect for this piece.
