With eyes of such sincerity
"Whatever trouble you are in
I'll be with you through thick and thin"

His gentle patience I admired
His loving comfort I desired
To feel his touch absolve my pain
Was all that ever kept me sane

Filled with disbelief and doubt
He cured my sadness, pulled me out
I felt so happy deep inside
A real live angel by my side

One slip in trust, we fell so fast
I'd opened old wounds from his past
I still was sure that we'd pull through
To me, we'd come too far not to

My angel turned and said to me
With eyes of such severity
"I cannot see you anymore
Things arent the way they were before"

His angel wings soon disappeared
Left in the dark I'd always feared
Scared and lonely, no more hope
I've lost my way and cannot cope

His truthful side he did reveal
His love for me was never real
He left me in my hour of need
Now all I do is sit and bleed

No candle now to light my way
As night time sky consumes the day
I'm back inside my deep abyss
No gentle kiss can now end this [comments] => 3 [counter] => 209 [topic] => 22 [informant] => dark_descent [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

I decided to skip the rest, and read part two. I'm sorry for your loss. As others said, mayhap another angel will pass your way.
Take care.
David
