Of shades of grey
Each color with a blemish
Of it's alternate sight conveyed

The dark turns to light
When the sun rises
And day changes to night
When the moon heightens

The hue of blood bleeding
Different from before
Blue was the color streaming
And red as it now pours

The light reflecting luster
As the eyes absorb the hue bestowed
The prism seperates color
As the rain, creates
The rainbow

besides some places where it was awkward, this was an excellent piece. and clark, just because its 4/20, it doesnt mean you need to smoke so much as to actually write about rainbows.

a very nice write. it does seem forced in a few spots, but enjoyable just the same.

This was a truly visual piece, and it's kind of sad I read it the day after that celebration that happened yesterday *ahem* lol just because if i was a bit "tipsy" (not that I ever am) while reading this, it would be so trippy and cool, because the colors you expressed and what those colors were doing in the poem, like the constant similarities between them all and how one flowed into the other, was really well done. This was overall a great poem with excellent imagery
