Loving emotions dwelt inside
Tender thoughts and dreams
Filled it up with pride
It thrived on the merriment
It sung a joyous tune
Warmth and desire
Out shone the glorious moon
Then it found another keeper
Who took over the chore
There for awhile it mellowed in harmony
Love flowing through it forever more
Seasons came and went
A flaw started to grow
Each and everyday
More apparent it showed
Love started to seep
Through the cracked flaw
Leaving the core unprotected
Misery rearing its ugly claw
Pain and anguish
Crawled deep inside the cracks
Painting emotional blackmail
Suffering revealed within the tracks
This monumental piece
Is sadly my precious heart
When I handed it to you
You ill-treated it and broke it apart...

Once flowing with erotic wild passion
Loving emotions dwelt inside

Very heartfelt and stocked full of emotions. The imagery and feelings are so strong and can so easily be felt! keep it up.

when someone gives you their heart, you should treat it as your own....and he just made his more colder. powerful and moving poem sue. this deserved more comments, and the people here that didnt comment...they are just heartless. pun intended.

Now Sue this is a good write and a little more my stile of work. Forget all that love poetry lost love is were its at. I’m just play in around girl but this is another good write. I’ve come to the conclusion that everything you right is powerful. Thank you for writing about a love that can give me hope. Take care…..Steve
