And the heartbeat is heard no more
In the midst of the mourning
Crowded by fake men
Here I stand
All alone
Looking into your face so pale
Wishing it were all a dream

Moments ago
You in your deathbed
Held my hands tight
You looked deep in my eyes
A look that meant it’s going to end
I could feel your longingness
To imagine to be existent
Without you beside
Pains my heart…”its impossible” I thought!

Fear of dereliction seems to have taken control of all my senses
And now
Though words remain unspoken
I can hear you saying, “I miss you”….
Oh! My love…so do I!
I wet your face with tears.

Sorrow begins now…I would soon fade away
I crave for you every moment
My head is jammed with thoughts about you
Emotions flutter at regular intervals
Leaving me in a pool of priceless memories
Of all those wonderful moments we spent together
In each other’s arms…plunging into an ocean of undying passion
Those long late night walks we took…hand in hand
Beneath the star studded sky…on the white sands…hearing the silvery waves roar high…
The shells we collected…the sand castles we made…
life cannot get more cruel...living makes no sense...if not with you
Where do I go?? What do I do??
Is there an option I got…that would be better than death?
