[bodytext] => VISION OF PEACE
The swollen moon hung motionless, Auburn leaves shivered from currents from the west. The sky God sent the rain, It spilled from a black cloud-like vein. Deeper within darkness he came, Rippling clouds on a torrential train. Thunder drums beat as he approached, Shadows veiled like a protective coat. Seduced by a vision of peace he stood, Where once an abundant Forrest should. I spread my dreams under thy feet, Inwrought with markings that you must meet. But alas dreams so potent are shattered, Evil still calls hoofs still clattered. Bombs fall the cataract thunder, Hatred, greed so much to ponder. White; black boasting about killing scars, Chimneys paint that blot out the stars. A crippled child cries out for milk, But its mouth stays dry like the deserts silk. Parents teach their boys to steal, It’s just a never-ending wheel. Earth’s skin bubbled from gas inside, Molten lava trembled on the slide. If manacles of death still flame, I will heat thy anguish with a torrential train.
