But it’s only noon,
I’ve turned nocturnal,
So I can see you walking in the distance,
You’re walking upside down,
And the sky is your pavement,
I wanted to shout your name,
“NONNERS NONNERS!”
And in that second,
It was like I broke the safety of silence,
A thousand red eyes,
And sharp claws,
Came straight at me,
Like the spear you jaggedly shoved through my heart,
When you held the gun to your head.
I curled up in a ball,
And closed my eyes real tight,
A prayer to help me out,
I reached out and opened my eyes,
And you were there holding my hand,
Your cold touch sent me shivering into
A bolt of all the memories you left behind,
The light came back and my vision was normal,
But you were gone,
Yet I can still feel the chill of sadness you left on me.
And I will never see you again,
Except in pictures,
And that day when you touched me,
You weren’t sent from heaven,
Suicide goes to hell,
I was going to grab you,
And tell you to put the gun down,
But when you knew what I was thinking,
The shot was how you vanished and left me here,
And I hate you so much for it,
Why couldn’t I stop you?
You were already dead,
A demon come to visit me,
Take me back to the past,
How could my life end so fast?

This is really heartfelt and sad. I'm sorry for your loss. I know somewhat how it feels...and the the knowledge of never knowing why...very nice job.

I'm sorry you had to go through that loss, but don't blame yourself, he knows you care, even in death.
